I Pixel – Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing at Ciao Bella in Bristol
Are you tired of your unsightly skin imperfections? If so, we have a viable solution that could significantly reduce or eliminate their appearance. Then you won’t have to feel embarrassed when you go out in public ever again.
Ciao Bella Aesthetics has acquired one of the most advanced and effective laser skin resurfacing technologies ever introduced to the cosmetic industry. Our Harmony XL Pro machine is a sophisticated laser skin treatment device that uses iPixel laser skin resurfacing technology to improve the appearance of skin imperfections. iPixel is different from other laser skin resurfacing technologies because it uses a fractional ablative laser instead of a fully ablative laser.
A fractional ablative laser targets the underlying dermal skin layer with pixelated heat treatments to minimise damage or impact to the outer skin layer. When the heat causes fractional damage to the deep skin tissue, it allows the surrounding tissue to remain unaffected. Meanwhile, the body is triggered to heal the damaged deep skin tissue by producing more collagen to rebuild it. As a result, the imperfected skin gets rebuilt into healthier-looking skin.
iPixel can treat the following skin imperfections:
- Red Blemishes
- Acne Scars
- Uneven Skin Tone
- Saggy Skin
- Fine Lines
- Stretch Marks
- Photodamage / Dark Spots
The iPixel fractional laser skin resurfacing procedure takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete. The medical practitioner will administer a cream-based anesthetic on the affected skin before the laser treatment begins. It is not a very painful procedure, but some people with sensitive skin might want some numbing cream to avoid discomfort.
There is minimal downtime once the procedure is finished. Even though it will take between 1 to 2 weeks to recover fully, you can resume your daily activities right away. You might experience some redness and swelling during the recovery period, so try to avoid skin irritants like the sun or sweaty exercise.
You will most likely need more than one treatment per cycle. Most clients require at least 2 to 5 laser treatments over the course of a month. That should be enough time for your skin to produce enough collagen to repair and replace the damaged skin tissue with new skin tissue. The medical practitioner will give you more advice on how to care for your skin after the treatments are finished.
The end goal is to enhance the skin texture on the most problematic areas of your body, such as your face and neck. There is no permanent cure to eliminate skin imperfections, but you can continuously treat them to keep their appearance to a minimum. The Harmony XL Pro was invented to target and eliminate skin imperfections with non-surgical and non-invasive laser treatment techniques. So if you repeat this treatment cycle every 12 to 18 months, your skin flaws should stay gone.

If you have excessive hair on the treatment area, shave it beforehand. It also helps to be prepared with information about your medical history—the technician will likely ask about it.
